Akiko has served as Team Leader of the Corporate Accounting and Disclosure Division of the Financial Services Agency (FSA) since July 2024. She is responsible for corporate governance reform in Japan as well as regulatory matters related to corporate control. She joined the FSA in 2011.
From 2022 to 2024, she worked as Senior Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). As a member of the Secretariat of the OECD Corporate Governance Committee, she contributed to the 2023 revision of the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance and the 2023 edition of the Corporate Governance Factbook.
From 2019 to 2022, she served as First Secretary at the Permanent Delegation of Japan to the OECD, where she participated in the meetings of the OECD Committee on Financial Markets and supported coordination between the Government of Japan and the OECD.

Glen Maguire

Glenn Maguire is Head of Asia (ex-Japan), Australia, and New Zealand Research, overseeing the production of independent shareholder meeting analyses and voting recommendations, along with bespoke governance research and market insights, across 13 jurisdictions. His work bridges governance practice, capital markets, and real-world operating contexts—helping institutional investors navigate board accountability, shareholder rights, disclosure quality, and related-party risk in key Asian markets.
With more than 30 years of experience spanning economics and markets research, investment banking, commercial banking, and payments/technology, Glenn brings deep Asia-Pacific expertise built through sustained engagement with corporates, investors, regulators, and policy stakeholders. He is recognized for combining rigorous research with decision-useful judgment, ensuring transparency and stewardship in markets where local nuance matters.
Based in Sydney, Glenn holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Newcastle (Australia) and has completed postgraduate studies in data analytics and sustainable development.

Jen Sisson

Jen is the CEO of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN). Led by investors responsible for assets worth around $US 77 trillion, ICGN advances the highest standards of corporate governance and investor stewardship worldwide in pursuit of long-term value creation. Jen represents ICGN on the Japanese Financial Services Agency’s Council of Experts and on the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators stakeholder working group.
Jen joined ICGN from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was EMEA Head of Stewardship, driving engagement, proxy voting and industry collaboration efforts. In that role, Jen was a member of the Investment Association Company Reporting and Auditing Group and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Investor Advisory Committee. In 2022 Jen was also a member of the US Council of Institutional Investors Corporate Governance Advisory Council.
Previously, Jen was Deputy Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Affairs at the UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC), responsible for coordinating outreach with the global investment community, listed company leadership teams and board members across all areas of the regulator’s scope. Jen led policy outreach on ESG, audit and reporting matters including the creation of the 2020 UK Stewardship Code and the 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code. Jen started her career at PwC.
Outside work, Jen is a volunteer for MyBigCareer, a charity focused on advancing higher educational opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Jen holds a BA in Business, Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle and a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.

Jinsuk Choi

Jinsuk Choi is a Head of Sustainable Investment Team of KIC, Korean Sovereign Wealth Fund. From 2016, he has mainly worked for developing the sustainable investment of KIC, managing sustainable programs with ESG analysis, and engaging the stewardship activities.
He was one of the initiative members in issuing Green & Sustainable Bond, which was issued globally by the Korean government for the first time in the world, and is also in charge of ESG strategic funds through global equity portfolio.
He has been cited in the media, including the Economist Intelligence Unit. He also participates as a panelist at many global seminars and conferences sponsored by IFC, etc. He has experiences to engage on government projects for the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Environment.
Mr. Choi is teaching at various educational institutions including the business school of Seoul National University, the BAN KI-MOON ESG Academy of UN Global Compact Korea and so on. He won the Bank of Korea President’s Award in 2017 and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance’s Award in 2021. He is co-author of ‘Era of ESG Investing’ published in 2021.

Simon Rumore is the Managing Director and Co‑Founder of Peakstone Global, a board and governance advisory firm supporting organisations across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia–Pacific region. With more than 15 years of specialist governance and investor stewardship advisory experience, and over two decades serving on boards, Simon is recognised for advancing high standards of corporate governance, board effectiveness and responsible stewardship in complex organisational environments.
Simon’s board career spans the private and not‑for‑profit sectors, with experience in industries including professional services, technology, financial and insurance services, health and social services, mining, transport and utilities. He has held significant governance roles including being Deputy Chair of organisations going through mergers and acquisitions, and has chaired committees overseeing governance, risk, compliance, nominations, remuneration, strategy and stakeholder engagement.
He currently serves as a member of the ICGN Global Policy Committee, contributing to global policy thought leadership on governance standards and investor responsibilities. Simon is also an active investor and director in several early‑stage companies and has served as trustee of family‑founded enterprises in professional services and funds management.
Simon’s career started in recruitment and progressed into organisational development, human resources, HSEC leadership and interim executive roles, supporting ASX‑listed, government and not‑for‑profit organisations across the Asia Pacific. His cross‑sector experience and cultural fluency in regional and international contexts underpin his pragmatic approach to governance and board performance.
A certified coach and mentor, Simon works closely with non‑executive directors to strengthen individual and board capability.
