Future Leaders
The ICGN Future Leaders Committee brings the perspectives of early career professionals into ICGN’s policy work while helping to develop the next generation of leaders in corporate governance, stewardship, and responsible investment.
Open to ICGN members, the Committee provides opportunities to contribute to policy discussions, collaborate with peers from around the world, and connect with experienced industry leaders. Through active participation, members help shape the future of governance while building valuable knowledge, networks, and leadership experience.
Amarilys Simoneau
Amarilys Simoneau
Amarilys works on sustainable investing activities across the firm’s equity and fixed income. She is responsible for conducting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) due diligence, ESG framework and integration, sustainability reporting, and issuer engagements. Prior to this role, Amarilys helped a private architectural firm establish its first sustainable development report and had previously performed ESG analysis and integration work for publicly listed companies at Desjardin Global Asset Management.
Amy McTavish
Amy McTavish
Amy McTavish is an alumna of the Gustavson School of Business (class of 2021) and a former portfolio manager for the University of Victoria’s Student Investment Fund (class of 2020/2021). Amy is currently working at BCI as a Senior Analyst, ESG. BCI is amongst the largest institutional investors in Canada with CAD$295 billion in gross assets under management. BCI manages a portfolio of diversified public and private market investments on behalf of 32 British Columbia public sector and institutional clients. In her capacity on the ESG team, Amy assists with the integration of environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities in BCI’s investment processes. Amy has worked at BCI since 2020, first starting as an intern and working up to Senior Analyst. Her main responsibilities include ESG specific due diligence and engagement with public market and private credit investments as well as managing BCI’s proxy voting program. In her spare time, Amy enjoys long distance running, hiking, and yoga.
Arnav Prasad
Arnav Prasad
Arnav is a Senior Investment Analyst in the ESG & Stewardship team at AustralianSuper, Australia’s largest superannuation fund. He is responsible for integrating material ESG considerations in due diligence, valuations and asset management across AustralianSuper’s private markets investment portfolio. This includes property, infrastructure and private equity investments.
His prior experience includes working in the Responsible Investment team at HESTA and being a Graduate at Westpac. Arnav holds Bachelors degrees in Actuarial Science and Finance from Monash University.
Ayşen Çelikmen
Ayşen Çelikmen
Ayşen Çelikmen is a Senior Research Analyst at Glass Lewis, where she focuses on corporate governance practices and executive remuneration in the Dutch, Belgian, and Luxembourg markets, with additional exposure to Hong Kong, Australia and Turkey. She prepares research and analysis for general meetings based on policies informed by national, regional and international best practices and governance codes. Ayşen regularly contributes to Glass Lewis publications on governance trends and policy developments. She holds an MA in European Studies from European University Viadrina and Istanbul Bilgi University, and a BA in International Relations from Galatasaray University. She speaks Turkish, English, and French.
Ben Levy
Ben Levy
Ben is an ESG Analyst at Asset Value Investors (AVI), where he leads ESG research, risk integration, and investee company engagement across £2.1B AUM global equity funds. AVI is a boutique activist-engagement investment manager, based in London. He also sits on the internal AVI Stewardship and Sustainability Risk Committee, and was appointed in 2025 to the UN PRI Sustainable Systems Investment Managers Reference Group. Prior to AVI, Ben was a Sustainable Finance Consultant at the global management consulting firm Guidehouse; including responsibilities as the APAC Coordinator for the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF), which Guidehouse serve as the global Secretariat for. Ben holds an MA Economics (First Class Honours) from the University of Glasgow, and an MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance from Imperial College London. He also holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
David Haughan
David Haughan
David Haughan is a qualified lawyer and an Investment Officer at Woodsford. He has considerable experience of shareholder-led group litigation arising from breakdowns in corporate governance. Prior to joining Woodsford, he practiced as a lawyer at an international law firm.
He obtained a Bachelor of Laws from King’s College London. He speaks English, French and Spanish.
Eoghan McGrath, CFA
Eoghan McGrath, CFA
Eoghan is an ESG Associate at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 2021 and has 4 years of investment industry experience.
Eoghan was an Investment Analyst on the Stewardship, Sustainability & Impact team at Martin Currie which then became part of ClearBridge in 2025.
Eoghan received a B.S.c (Honours) in actuarial science from Heriot-Watt University and is a CFA® charterholder.
Gabe Gerson

Gabe Gerson is a Stewardship Analyst at Geode Capital Management in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Geode, Gabe spent 3 years at Ceres, Inc. working as a Senior Associate II in Shareholder Engagement, managing shareholder resolution tracking and analysis within the stewardship and proxy landscape. Prior to Ceres, he held roles at Ginkgo Bioworks as a Senior Specialist, and at Odysseys Unlimited Inc. focusing on product development and client account management. Gabe earned a Bachelor’s Degree at The University of Arizona, B.A., and is completing his MBA at Northeastern University with a specialization in Investments and Finance, and Global Studies.

Gladys Lam is Stewardship Analyst at HSBC Asset Management based in Hong Kong. Within Stewardship, she covers Chinese companies (including state-owned enterprises) and climate change. She began her career at HSBC Asset Management, gaining product and research experiences across equities, fixed income and multi asset. Gladys holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and a Bachelor of Education in English Education (First Class) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Outside of work, she enjoys good food, good art, and good company.
Jacquelin Renda
Jacquelin Renda
Jacquelin Renda is a Director on the Public and Private Fixed Income ESG Research team at PGIM, a global asset manager. Her role involves leading ESG investment and stewardship processes across PGIM’s private credit and private alternatives strategies. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University and holds the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate.

As part of UBS’ Stewardship Team, Joseph leads governance engagements in APAC, with a focus on China/Hong Kong, India and Australia. Previously, he was a Stewardship Analyst at Janus Henderson Investors and a Governance and Proxy Voting Associate at Morrow Sodali (now Sodali&Co). He holds a MSc in International Political Economy (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and was an Ermenegildo Zegna Scholar.

Landon Shea is Research Lead, Investment Stewardship at AllianceBernstein, where he is responsible for voting shareholder meetings across AB’s $330 billion active equities platform, overseeing proxy-related regulatory reporting, and authoring corporate governance research. Shea covers the Healthcare and Technology sectors for AB’s Responsible Investing team, engaging issuers on material ESG topics in partnership with active investment teams. Prior to joining AB, he worked as an Undergraduate Fellow at the Berkeley Law School Public Law & Policy Center and as a Compliance Intern at VMware. Shea holds a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley.

Manuel Sobral is an ESG Analyst in the Robeco Active Ownership team, specialized in Corporate Governance. Prior to joining Robeco in 2022, he obtained a Master’s in Accounting & Financial Management and a Bachelor’s in International Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Manuel is fluent in both Portuguese and English.

Rajveer Dhanoa is an Investment Officer on the Sustainable Investment and Stewardship Strategies team for California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS), the largest educator-only public pension fund in the world. Rajveer contributes to proxy voting and corporate engagement initiatives aligned with CalSTRS’s stewardship priorities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Sacramento.
Sakura Omori
Sakura Omori
Sakura Omori is an engagement specialist and former investment analyst in long-short and engagement strategies. She joined Nomura Asset Management’s Responsible Investment Research Department in 2025, leading stewardship and engagement with Japanese listed companies. Previously, she worked at SPARX Asset Management K.K. (joined 2021), where she helped launch a $1 billion engagement fund in 2023, and earlier served as an M&A advisory associate at PwC Advisory K.K. Her strengths include TMT, machinery, food, and real estate sectors and engagement with corporate management.
Shambhavi Jha
Shambhavi Jha
Shambhavi Jha is a corporate governance research analyst at a proxy advisory firm, Stakeholders Empowerment Services. She has extensive experience in proxy advisory research, including analysis of board practices, executive remuneration, shareholder rights, and mergers. Alongside her research work, she contributes to stewardship education initiatives and the development of proxy voting policies supporting informed investor decision-making. She holds an integrated BA LLB (Hons.) degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
Shane McCullagh

Shane is a senior investment analyst within the Sustainable Ownership team at Railpen. His responsibilities include ESG investment research and stewardship across Railpen’s global investments in public and private markets.
He is a CFA charterholder and graduated from the University of Bath with a first-class degree in Mathematical Sciences. His previous experience includes working as a consultant advising pension funds on their investment strategy.
Syahnon Ahmad

Syahnon Ahmad is an Associate in Investment Stewardship and Corporate Governance at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), one of Malaysia’s largest institutional investors. He works on proxy voting, shareholder engagement and stewardship policy across domestic and international investee companies, spanning listed equities, private companies and fixed income. His work focuses on the practical application of governance and stewardship principles, including board effectiveness, ESG and climate governance. Syahnon holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

Wonhui Jeong is a member of the Macro, Policy & ESG Group at the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), Korea’s sovereign wealth fund. After completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a concentration in Financial Law, she transitioned into ESG- and policy-related work and currently focuses on ESG integration within a public asset owner framework.
In her current role, she works on ESG reviews for alternative investments, the management of ESG strategy equity funds, and climate-related analysis. Based on this practical experience, she is also involved in firm-wide discussions on ESG integration, stewardship, and corporate governance. Her interests center on how ESG principles, fiduciary duty, and sustainability considerations are operationalized in institutional investment decision-making.
Yu-Ting Fu

As part of Columbia Threadneedle Investments’ Sustainable Research team, Yu-Ting Fu leads proxy voting and corporate governance engagement across the APAC region. Previously, she was a stewardship engager at EOS, Federated Hermes Limited, focusing on ESG engagement in Asia. Yu-Ting holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Management from the University of Bath and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from National Taipei University.

The Global Policy Committee enables ICGN members to help shape the organisation’s policy agenda by contributing their expertise to policy development, thought leadership, and advocacy.
Working in partnership with the ICGN Secretariat, this investor-led committee supports ICGN’s mission to promote high standards of corporate governance and investor stewardship worldwide. The Committee is a voluntary body made up of ICGN members, providing a forum for collaboration, insight, and meaningful influence on ICGN’s policy work.
